| Phil Bena Sr - Guitar, Harmonica, and Vocals 
Phil Béna became a Christian in January of 1974 while pursuing a professional music career. Soon after his conversion, he was discipled by his pastor. After being mentored, he decided to serve God with his life and thus began his academic training in preparation for the ministry. Phil is a graduate of Shenandoah Bible College, Washington Bible College and Bowie State College. His formal training has been in the areas of Bible, theology, psychology and counseling. He is presently the Chairperson of the Department of Psychology and Counseling at Washington Bible College in Lanham, Maryland. In addition to his academic teaching and administrative work, Phil has remained active in local church ministry over the years. He is an ordained minister and has specialized in music ministry, service to youth, young adults and the elderly. He is presently an assistant pastor at Grace Bible Church in Seabrook, Maryland. While pastoring, he maintains an active preaching, teaching and music ministry to various local churches and Christian organizations and has published three musical recordings. Phil was selected for inclusion in the Who's Who Among America's Teachers, 2004 and 2005, is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and serves on the Advisory Board for the Bowie Crofton Pregnancy Clinic. Phil is married and has three children. |
